We may use the non-payment information we collect to: encourage dialog regarding sexual and domestic violence through sharing user stories and any commentary on the story; signing users up for email newsletters and updates; providing information and data collected to researchers of sexual and domestic violence to better understand trends and patterns of violence; to improve and better understand our Services; to customize and edit content submitted through the Services; to provide resources to users who share stories and commentary; to market our Services, products and events to you; and for any purpose that we may discuss directly with a user at the time that the information is collected or thereafter.
III. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
The RADAR Project is committed to maintaining the Services and your information as accurately, safely, and effectively as possible. We may disclose your information to the public if you submit content regarding sexual and domestic violence in a public forum. We may share your information to third parties for research purposes. We may disclose your information to a third party if we reasonably are obligated to do so by law (discussed below). We may disclose your information with your consent for any other purpose as discussed with you at the time.
If you access third-party services, such as Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, through the Services, to login to the Services, or to share information about your experience on the Services with others, these third-party services may be able to collect information about you, and they may notify your connections on the third-party services about your use of the Service, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
If you choose to engage in public activities on the Services, you should be aware that any information you disclose can be read, collected, or used by other users. You should use caution in disclosing personal information. The RADAR Project is not responsible for the information you choose to submit in these public areas.

If you request that your information be changed or deleted, we may still maintain your pre-existing personal information for purposes of record keeping or to comply with our retention policy below.
THE RADAR PROJECT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISCLOSE BOTH PERSONAL AND ANYONYMOUS INFORMATION WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT OR NOTICE TO YOU IF WE REASONABLY BELIEVE THAT WE ARE ETHICALLY OR LEGALLY REQUIRED TO REPORT DUE TO CONCERNS ABOUT THE SAFETY OF A USER.
THE RADAR PROJECT MAY OR MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED A “MANDATED REPORTER” BUT WE WILL ACT AS SUCH. WE MAY DISCLOSE INFORMATION REGARDING ANY REASONABLE CONCERNS REGARDING THE SAFETY OF A CHILD TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT OR NOTICE.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Statement, The RADAR Project reserves the right to disclose both your Personal Information and Anonymous Information without your consent and without providing notice to you if we reasonably believe that we are required by law, judicial order, or legal process. We may also disclose your Personal and Anonymous Information without your consent or notice if we reasonably believe that it is necessary to protect, establish, or exercise our rights, or defend against legal claims, or if it is necessary to protect other customers or visitors, or our employees, property, or business.
No Collection of Information from Children. The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly collect or retain information in connection with the Services from children under the age of 13. By using the Services you affirm that you are eighteen (18) years or older, or that you are between the ages of (13) and seventeen (17) and possess legal parental or guardian consent to use the Services and provide information through the Website, Web App and social media; and that you have authority to agree to this Privacy Statement and are competent and capable of understanding and complying with this Privacy Statement. The RADAR Project does not and will not knowingly permit submission of Personal Information by anyone under thirteen (13) years of age through the Website, Web App, or social media. The RADAR Project will not knowingly contact children under the age of thirteen (13) for marketing purposes.

Severability.
